2008 Australian Solo 24 Hour MTB Championships
Welcome to the 2008 Australian Solo 24hr Mountain Bike Championship!
Australia's most gruelling solo mountain bike race takes off this Easter weekend, bringing together the nation's best endurance riders. This is one of the Australian qualifying events for the 2008.
This year's Australian Solo 24hr Mountain Bike Championship promises to be a weekend of adrenalin and fun activity. Use the time before the race as an opportunity to get your race plan down pat.. Grab your camping gear and head to the campsite for some pre-race banter and carbohydrate consumption.
To avoid disappointment make sure you are clear on the rules, schedule and of course, the course and we look forward to seeing you there.
NZO The Worlds Best Value in Bike Gear
For over ten years we have been bike-riders at Nzo, designing bike gear with a simple idea: build a product we're happy with and make it available to people like you. Now, for us to be happy the gear must be functional, comfortable and great value. Value means using your Nzo product as one of your regular favorites and owning it long enough to forget exactly when you bought it. It's value you'll wear time and time again.
Nzo is all about bike riding, and bike riders. That is why we support the best events across Australasia, the ones that really capture the adventure and challenge that is mountain biking. Nzo is very happy to be supporting the very leading edge of the new frontier of mountain biking: the solo 24 Hour race.
24Hrs of Adrenalin Spots

The Course
The lap distance is 8.20 Km. The course will be marked with bunting and arrows. There will be 3 manned checkpoints on the course plus additional roving marshals. You do not have to take any action on passing through a mid-course checkpoint. All manned checkpoints will have yellow bins for rubbish – please use them.
If you leave the course for any reason, you must rejoin the course at the point you left it in order to continue riding. If you rejoin at another point, or shortcut the course back to the start, then your lap will be discounted.
